1. Transaction data (Production Order)
2. Routing
3. Work Center
4. Material Master
5. Configuration (If applicable)
in Routing:It is the best place to have BF indicator, because it is specific to that material & routing.
Still if you miss in all above you can have it in production order also.
But it is always not advisable to activate it in production order[@more@]
