MRP-Areas are needed only if a material in the same plant need more than one type of planning parameters, or need more than one type of ATP logic (viz. SLoc specific). Having logical MRP-Areas based on material type, or based on any un-necessary requirement, should be avoided, because Plant cannot create demand on MRP-Area and one MRP-Area also cannot create demand on another MRP-Area.
