Kindle DX
[@more@]

What is Philosophy? What is Philosophy？ Quite literally, the term "philosophy" means, "love of wisdom." In a broad sense, philosophy is an activity people undertake when they seek to understand fundamental truths about themselves, the world in which they live, and their relationships to the world and to each other. As an academic discipline philosophy is much the same. Those who study philosophy are perpetually engaged in asking, answering, and arguing for their answers to li

SQL Server 2008
Byte 0 is the TagA byte of the record metadata. Bit 4 means the record has a NULL bitmap and bit 5 means the record has variable length columns. If 0x40 (bit 6) was also set, that would indicate that the record has a versioning tag. If 0x80 (bit 7) was also set, that would indicate that byte 1 has a value in it. Bits 1-3 of byte 0 give the record type. The possible values are: 0 = primary record. A data record in a heap that hasn't been forwarded or a data record at the leaf level of a clustered

[@more@]

China's Filtering Software Contains Pirated Code
Does 'Green Dam' steal code from CyberSitter? And what are PC OEMs to do?06.12.09 The "Green Dam" filtering software that the Chinese government is reportedly requiring for all PCs sold there contains pirated code, a U.S. software manufacturer claimed Friday. Solid Oak Software, the developer of CyberSitter, claims that the look and feel of the GUI used by Green Dam mimics the style of CyberSitter. But more damning, chief executive Brian Milburn said, was the fact that the Green Dam co

1> create table t(a int identity, b char(5) default 'x')2> go1> insert into t default values2> go 51> select sys.fn_PhysLocFormatter(%%physloc%%) as RID, * from t2> goRID a b---------- ----------- -----(1:21:0) 1 x(1:21:1) 2 x(1:21:2) 3 x(1:21:3) 4 x(1:21:4) 5 x与Oracle的DBMS_ROWID包中的函数功能相同，但是这个更好用。另外一个函数是sys.fn_physLocCracker ，其用法如下：1> create table t(a int)2> insert into t values(1)3> insert into t values(2)4> insert into t values(3)
