对于sybase公司，其实是由于pb的缘故，我才知道sybase的，后来在工作中，接触到了sybase ase 数据库软件，再后来又知道了pd：powerdisigner。只不过现在的sybase已经被sap收购了。据说sybase是美国国防部最为倚重的数据库服务提供商，美国佬竟然也能同意德国企业收购sybase？有点意思。。。可能我在工作中接触到的sybase 都是windows下11.5 和11.9.2的关系，而windows下这两个版本的数据库性能很差（20-30万行的数据量就慢的要死），让我对ase 有了不太好的印象，也许慢的原因不仅仅是数据库，还有应用程序的写法，不知道unix环境下的syba
