ust about every DBA has had to deal with ora-1000 errors, "Maximum open cursors exceeded." This article will discuss initialization parameters that affect open cursors, the difference between open and cached cursors, closing cursors, and monitoring open and cached cursors. Open cursors Open cursors take up space in the shared pool, in the library cache. To keep a renegade session from filling up the library cache, or clogging the CPU with millions of parse requests, w

In Oracle 10gR2, you can now choose to break this fourth property. Oracle's new asynchronous commit feature essentially allows you to trade durability for speed on a transaction-by-transaction basis. You can choose to break ACID compliance in this way by default, at the instance level; or you can choose to break it at the individual transaction level. Asynchronous Commit By default, Oracle's commits are durable. Oracle writes your changes to disk and doesn't return control of t

Rapidshare is a file hosting goldmine if you know how to search it properly. There are basically two ways to do that. First, you can use Google search parameters to search Rapidshare. Several websites offer a basic search interface that does nothing more than to add the parameters to your searches and display the Google search results. Then there is a different kind of website that has its own database and performs searches using it.Rapidshare是一个非常有用文件共享主机。

Monitoring and Management Tools You can use the following tools to monitor JVM performance and resource consumption. The tools described in this section are unsupported and experimental, and should be used with that in mind. They may not be available in future JDK versions. Platform support: jconsole: all platforms.jps, jstat, and jstatd: all platforms except Windows 98 and Windows ME. For more information, see Monitoring and Management for the Java Platform. java.lan

Logman.exe loadTOCNode(2, 'moreinformation'); 您可以使用 Logman.exe 工具来完成以下操作： 通过指定远程计算机名称来从一个中央位置远程启动和停止日志文件数据收集。在一台计算机上配置数据收集，然后 从一个中央位置将该配置复制到多台计算机上。查询当前运行的日志和跟踪。示 例 loadTOCNode(3, 'moreinformation'); 如果 Sample_Log 是本地计算机上的一个现有性能日志的名称，logman start Sample_Log 命令将启动该日志。Relog.exe loadTOCNode(
