关于收到localhost modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module ethX的错误
在服务器的/var/log/messages文件中,不时收到以下信息,但又不是开机的时候出现的.
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth5
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth6
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth7
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth8
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth9
开始的时候不知道,一直翻到GOOGLE第12页,看到这个是由于执行了mii-tool命令后出现的.
这个命令大家知道是查看网卡的连接情况.
本人猜测系统是将所有的网卡搜索一遍(但不知道为什么没有装的网卡ETH5--ETH9也会去搜索).
这样看来,对这个错误大家也不必太紧张了.
当然如果你想要让这个错误消失.
你可以编辑/etc/ modules.conf,
并加上以下信息:
alias eth5 off
alias eth6 off
alias eth7 off
alias eth8 off
alias eth9 off
这样,当你运行mii-tools的时候,就不会再出现这个错误提示了.
