今天是开心的一天。CCF A类会议SIGIR放榜了。我投了2篇。中了一篇。还是很开心的。

20年在蚂蚁的工作

这个工作其实是20年在蚂蚁的时候做的。我当时负责支付宝数金三选一的推荐位排序，这个位置其实是蚂蚁流量最大的地方了。就是你还花呗，还款成功后会弹出三个权益给你选，权益池就是那些教育金、借呗还息券啥的。我们算法就决定哪些权益你最有可能核销就排哪些。项目做了两年多了，传到我手上的时候已经比较卷了，想拿收益必须玩更多的花招才行。当时玩了两个花招，一周统计平均转化率提升了8.21%。

做的时候没有想好起啥名字。由于谷歌那个多任务学习的名字是MMOE，我就把这个算法叫做MMOF。这个名字后来被我同事交大ACM班出身的小哥知道了觉得很搞笑。（交大ACM班据说全球每年才30个人。哈哈哈。大佬）

两个基本点被别人发掉一个KDD

我后面想把他搞成论文投出去。一开始找了阿里妈妈的算法XX大佬，他们都不太有时间和兴趣发paper，后来联系了阿联酋人工智能学院的大教室，太远了后来也作罢。最后我的老同事兼学术引路人叶教授正好找我聊事情。我跟他说了这个事情，他正好刚从企业界回大学当教授，还很有兴趣。就开始搞了。

两个基本点其实都很靠谱的。但叶正教授觉得辅助loss更有意思。专心做一个。所以异构专家网络的论文就没有写了。后来21年的时候发现这个点被人发了KDD。

21年sigir投稿被拒

实战效果好的文章，要搞成论文还需要在公开数据集上刷分才可以。找来找去就之前阿里的ESMM论文放出来的数据集够用。但那个数据集是用XDL写的。转成tfrecord比较麻烦。一开始搞来搞去跑一个batch 要2秒，太慢了。后来优化了底层数据读取的方式，才变好一点，400ms可以迭代一次。但是发现数据集有问题，跑来跑去就是跑不出ESMM论文的baseline的结果。有一天晚上，正哥都想放弃了。再重新跑一下发现复现了ESMM论文的效果。感觉论文就有底了。后来我review了一下，发现这个数据集虽然很大，但分布不均衡，由于数据集大，大家都希望取1/8跑，这样实验起来快，但1/8的数据集的结果就是比全量数据集的结果要差很多。

后来发现，addloss 后，效果不稳定。我当时正好是蚂蚁的绩效季。腾不出手写code。正哥按自己的理解把论文写好投出去了。结果被weark ly rejected。当天结果出来没中还是很难受的。大家觉得我的idea靠谱，结果发现实验结果并不是很理想，我也没有下手写code自证一下效果。

后来也就不好意思再找正哥给我合作搞paper了。感觉把人家坑了。

22年重新启航终于accept

后来我好哥们去了之江实验室做研究员，他对我的工作也很感兴趣。咱两兄弟就又把这个事情支隆起来了。事实上我当初还有一篇图神经网络的paper在写，然后12月份动手想把这个工作再捡起来投出去。时间是非常紧的。一开始团队成员代码上不了手，搞了好久才把环境搭起来可以复现出算法结果。时间已经到了春节了。论文的核心代码还八字没一撇呢。春节正好有疫情，我们没有回老家。就在家写code。除了初一没有写，其他时间都在写那些核心代码，跑实验，重要把addloss的代码搞好了。可以稳定提升效果。年后第一天上班就跟团队伙伴们对齐了效果。然后就轰轰烈烈的开始写paper了。

同时搞两篇论文真的很累的。投稿前一天，我和小伙伴吃了顿羊肉锅仔。勉强支撑到了AOE时间的截稿时刻。当天6点就下班回家了。实在太累了。到家躺在床上连手机都不想玩，不一会就睡着了。睡到第二天9点才醒。我那篇图算法也搞的很辛苦。但没中。Sad……。reviewer的建议是我们的图算法论文不适合sigir。

就这样吧。后来发现，我大学时的老师，武汉大学的李晨亮教授今年sigri 中了9篇。真是太强了。

The final acceptance decisions were made by the PC chairs after careful consideration of all reviews and meta-reviews and meeting multiple times to discuss disagreements. Considering the time and effort that went into the decision-making, and the expertise of the reviewers, please take into consideration their feedback as you prepare the camera-ready version of your paper.

The deadline for the camera ready version is Sunday, April 24th. Detailed instructions to prepare it will follow soon. Papers will be available open access on the ACM Digital Library up to two weeks prior to the first day of the conference. Note that the official publication date will be the date the proceedings are made available in the ACM Digital Library, which may affect the deadline for any patent filings related to published work.

SIGIR 2022 will be a hybrid conference, with both in-person and online participation supported. At least one author is required to register for the conference and present the paper either in-person or virtually. All authors will have the option of preparing a video presentation for their paper for the ACM Digital Library and for use at the conference; we highly recommend you do this. More information will be included with camera-ready instructions.

In producing the program and planning for the conference logistics, we would like to get early input from you on whether you expect to attend SIGIR 2022 in person or online. For this purpose, please enter your best expectation in the following form by Friday, April 15th AoE:
