我这里使用的操作系统是OEL4.8，完成GC的Agent部署有很多种方法，这里给出最快速的方法：使用agentDownload.linux完成Grid Control Agent的部署安装。
使用这种方法的特点：一次只能部署一个Agent；使用的是从GC服务器上pull的技术；可以针对具体环境对脚本进行修改；非交互性静默类型的操作；纯文本输出等。

1.保证使用这种方法的先决条件被满足
1）需要为Oracle创建用户和组；
2）保证wget命令可用，因为安装过程中需要使用这个命令从GC服务器上下载安装文件；
3）在oracle用户下完成安装；
4）保证oracle用户下Java程序jar可用；
5）确定Agent安装的目录，我们这里指定的是“/u01/app/oracle/agent”。

2.agentDownload.linux脚本完成的任务列表
1）创建所需的目录；
2）下载installation response file；
3）下载jarred OUI；
4）静默模式下安装Agent；
5）自动发现主机上的targets，并启动主机上的Agent。

3.记录Agent安装过程
1）将ocmdb2主机中agentDownload.linux拷贝到ocmdb1主机上
[oracle@ocmdb1 ~]$ scp ocmdb2:/u01/app/oracle/OracleHomes/oms10g/sysman/agent_download/10.2.0.1.0/linux/agentDownload.linux .

2）给脚本授予执行权限
[oracle@ocmdb1 ~]$ chmod 755 agentDownload.linux

3）执行agentDownload.linux完成在Agent的部署安装
命令中“/u01/app/oracle/agent”表示Agent部署的路径。
[oracle@ocmdb1 ~]$ ./agentDownload.linux -b /u01/app/oracle/agent
…… ……
……省略输出的log信息……
/u01/app/oracle/agent/agent10g/root.sh needs to be executed by root to complete this installation.

注意安装完成之后，安装日志最后输出的内容，需要在root用户下执行root.sh脚本。

4）在root用户下执行root.sh脚本
[oracle@ocmdb1 ~]$ su - root

[root@ocmdb1 ~]# sh /u01/app/oracle/agent/agent10g/root.sh

到此，整个Agent就安装完毕了。

4.在GC服务器上配置新发现的数据库实例
因为在ocmdb1主机上部署完成Agent后会自动发现其上运行着的数据库实例，我们这里是ocmdb实例和ocmgc实例。只需要简单的配置一下便可在GC中对其进行监控和管理。
具体步骤如下。
