前天公司一同事问，能不能写过exe文件，处理win下的东西，一直来都是在UNIX下写程序，还真写过exe。于是决定将perl程序编译为exe。折腾了2天，不停的google，终于安装完par。下面就简单下安装步骤：[@more@]

Question and answer

1、if error: "lib version (v5.8.8) doesn't match executable version (v5.8.6)"
The problem is that there are Perl libraries installed on your machine that are not compatible with your Perl version.
To correct the problem:
> getting http://www.perl.com/CPAN/authors/id/S/SM/SMUELLER/PAR-Packer-0.975-MSWin32-x86-multi-thread-5.8.8.par
> replacing PAR::StrippedPARL::Static.pm and PAR::StrippedPARL::Dynamic.pm in the sitelib by the files contained in
PAR-Packer-0.975-MSWin32-x86-multi-thread-5.8.8.par
> update PAR::StrippedPARL::Base.pm in Line 71 to "my @libs = (map {"-I"$_""} @INC);"

2、if error: "Perl_sv_2iv_flags could not be located in thedynamic link library perl58.dll"

>The Perl58.dll version:

There are no other perl58.dll's on my system. Par's version:

PAR Packager, version 0.976 (PAR version 0.976)

> only perl58.dll is the one from ActiveState build 822, then the problem is with your PAR packager. It contains an image of perl58.dll from a

different (earlier) version of Perl

To correct the problem:

For ActiveState build 822:

3、if error:"PPM in ActivePerl ... failed: unable to open database file"
