You can find the PLATFORM_ID inside the database in the V$DATABASE view using the query below:

SQL> select platform_id, platform_name from v$database;

PLATFORM_ID PLATFORM_NAME
----------- -----------------------------------
10 Linux IA (32-bit)

9i v$database下没有platform_id, platform_name 这两个字段,10G下才有。
