To rename the server:

Add the local administrators group to the Management Console administrators with full control.

Disable logons to the server.

Remove the server from any published applications to which it is assigned.

Stop the IMA Service on the server.

Rename the MetaFrame server.

Stop the IMA Service and recreate the local host cache.
