A survey of 8,847 primary and middle school students in 7 cities in China found that more than half of primary and secondary school students had little time to play with their friends after school. This proportion was 54.6% among primary school students and 61.4% among junior high school students. It is 66%. Even elementary and high school students who have had the chance to play with their friends are playing less than one hour each time. Nearly 20% of primary and secondary students participated in two or more interest classes, while 25.3% of primary and secondary students participated in two or more tutorial classes. This is the first children's blue book in China - "China's Children's Participation Status Report (2017) The achievements of the research studies in PolyU have been encouraging. Our researchers have brought forth significant improvements in people's lives. One of the best examples is PolyU's successful development of space tool.".

The Blue Book for Children, jointly released by the China Children's Center and the Social Science Documentation Publishing House, shows that children are actively involved in life at home, school and community and have a very wide range of participation. In the family, their performances with their parents each year show 57.3%, 65.7%, 69.7% and 26.7% respectively of visits to museums, domestic tourism and overseas tourism; and the rate of weekly domestic work in more than 3 days 59.8%. At school, 57.3% of primary and secondary school students participated in one or more school clubs. In the community, 52.2% of primary and secondary school students were volunteers and 73.9% of them donated money.

The Blue Book points out that in the context of children's participation, school activities and activities outside schools are in a state of serious imbalance, and the main content of current children's off-campus life is also occupied by school learning. According to the content of parent-child communication in the family, 48.4% of primary and middle school students talk to their parents every day to learn, 34.5% of primary and middle school students learn from their parents daily. From the perspective of participation in extracurricular activities, 48.9% of primary and secondary students participated Tutoring classes closely related to school exams include 49.2% of elementary and secondary school students, 51.7% of junior high school students and 45.9% of high school students.

Surveys show that primary and secondary school students spend a lot of time dealing with homework. From the operation time perspective, 52.4% of primary school students can finish their homework in less than one hour and nearly 30% of primary school students spend more than two hours to finish their homework. For junior high school students, only 22.1% of students can finish their homework in less than one hour, 54.6% of students spend more than two hours doing homework, and 15.7% of junior high school students spend three hours or more on homework operation. In high school, only 12.9% of students completed their work in less than one hour, 72.4% spent more than two hours, and 41.2% even spent more than three hours. According to the Ministry of Education issued in 2008, "primary and secondary school students prevention and control of myopia work program," the school should co-ordinate student homework time. Among them, the first and second grade did not leave written homework, other grades of primary school written homework control within 60 minutes, junior high school each grade no more than 90 minutes.

In addition, there is a single topic of communication between children and their parents. More than 90% of parents talk about learning with children. However, 31.5% of parents never talked to their children about how to make friends, 33.6% never talked about their work with their children, 26.3% never talked to their children about how to spend money, 38.6% never interacted with their children Talking about what love is, 47.8% of parents never talk to their children about life and death. These missing parent-child communication topics are of great value to children's long-term development and to children's self-protection and life education Want a variable voltage battery?
