The lubrication maintenance to stone crushers is a kind of method to prolong the service life of crushers. For impact crushers, the parts needing to lubricate are connecting rod bearings, eccentric shaft bearings and thrust plates. Except for impact crusher, it also should pay attention to the lubrication of the jaw plates in a jaw crusher.

In addition, the lubrication oil selected for impact crushers is different to some degree in different seasons. For instance, in summer it is suitable to use the 70th machine oil and it should choose the 40th oil in winter. In another situation when the impact crusher operates continuously and there is lubrication oil heating device in winter and the temperature in summer is not so high, it can use the 50th oil no matter in winter or summer. And for large and medium impact crusher, it should use pressure cycling lubrication for the connecting rod bearings and eccentric shaft bearings.

Since the lubrication of crushers is one important link in the whole maintenance, it should take special care of the lubrication in usage and maintenance.

1.There is only need to add moderate lubricating grease to the adjoining planes between the toggle plates when assembling or maintaining.

2.It should add lubrication oil regularly in order to make sure the normal operation of the crushers and to prolong the service life.

3.It should use the lubrication grease according to the workplace and temperature condition of the crusher. Generally speaking, we can use calcium-sodium lubrication grease. And if the grease is too dry, we can use it after mixing with some thin oil.

Though the lubrication oil is only a small part of the maintenance process, it can affect the normal operation and working efficiency of the impact crusher.
