Main Responsibilities:
• Creating designs and programs.
• Potentially providing guidance to lower level Engineers as needed.
• Provide internal and external support, evaluating and researching tools and products that could be used in current and future development.
• Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine functional specifications.
• Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test or modify computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.
• Document, test, create or modify computer programs related to the design of software or hardware for computer operating systems.
Qualifications:
• Major in computer science or electrical engineering. at least 3 years experience in software development;
• C#, C and C++ programming or equivalent structured language in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Structured software design using .Net
• Database experience (Oracle, SQL, etc)
• Web development (Java, ASP.net, HTML, XML, etc.)
• Knowledge of Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest.
• Communication architect and protocols (SNMP a Plus).
• Object oriented design.
• Agile development.
• Experience with UML a plus.
• Project scheduling.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English required to work in a global team.
