Jod Descriptions:

Executes complex independent problem solving.  Demonstrates technology and team leadership.  Designs, implements, and communicates solutions with minimal supervision.

Translates business requirements into functional technology requirements and technical designs.  Facilitates business calls for high severity incidents.  Requires experience or understanding of multiple programming languages and systems as well as system design and project management methodology. 

Responsibilities:

1.    Provides input in project planning sessions with businesses, business analysts, and team members to analyze Business IT requirements;

2.    Collaborates with project team members to define and design scope for each project;

3.    Works closely with the Information Architect to create logical data model;

4.    Manages new requirements of small to medium complexity of application code changes;

5.    Ensures that the application interacts efficiently with interfacing applications and platforms;

6.    Defines and implements back-up / recovery procedures

7.    Creates technical specifications and submits for review by senior developers;

8.    Develops application code unit and integration testing strategies;

9.    Plans and implements application upgrades and migrations;

Essential Skills / Experience

1.    8 years or above of experience on UNIX platform, RedHat Linux, Oracle, JSP, JavaScript, Servlet, Java Object-Oriented Programming, Spring Framework and Hibemate experience;

2.    Strong technical background on BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE);

Web Intelligence; Crystal Report; Universe Designer;

3.    Proficient application integration;

4.    Proficient infrastructure product knowledge;

5.    Proficient IT risk management;

6.    Proficient technical problem resolution;

7.    Proficient English and Chinese communication
