一、访问数和访客（visits and visitor)

1、定义

访问数：在一个给定的时间段内所有会话的数量--the count of all the sessions during a given time period。

唯一访客：在一个给定时间段内所有唯一的cook_id的数量--The count of  all the  persistent  unique cookids during a given time period.

2、值得关注的三个方面

  1）准确地理解者两个度量中的每一个是如何计算的。

  2）花时间与IT部门和web分析供应商进行协作，理解在应用程序中会话过程是如何实现的。

  3）真正感兴趣的是绝对唯一访客

唯一访客使用了cookie值，因此需要使用第一方cookie,测量站点的cookie拒绝率，观察随时间变化的数字趋势。

二、页面访问时间（the time on page)和站点访问时间（the time on site)

1、定义

页面访问时间：represents the time spent on each page.计算一个页面和下一个页面之间的时间标记的差值。

站点访问时间：represents the time spent during that session on the website。

三、转换率（conversion rate)

1、定义

是一个百分比，已转换的/唯一访客或者访问次数，expressed as a percentage, is defined as Outcomes divided byUnique Visitors (or Visits). Outcomes are customarily the submission of an order on your ecommerce website.

2、值得关注

分母是用访客还是唯一访客

Google Analytics and Omniture (and many others) use Visits by default.
