Use
This section describes all necessary activities for ActiveX-Components installation.

Preparation
Required is the SAPGUI (local or installed in the net), the SAP Software Development Kit (SDK) which you can find on the SAP-Install-CD.With the SDK, help files get installed, which are very useful.

Installing ActiveX-Component
At the moment I’m using the SAPGUI 620 final release and Delphi 7.

During the Installation from the SAPGUI or SDK, any OCX-Files become installed, which included ActiveX-Components. These can be build in into Delphi.

The ActiveX-Components are merged as follows in Delphi:

# SAPLogonControl, SAPBAPIControl :
component --> ActiveX import
(imported components: TSAPLogonControl, TSAPBapiControl)

Please follow me, step by step:

a. Before ActiveX-Components installation.


b. Start to install TSAPLogonControl. Please choose 'SAP Logon Control' and click 'Install...' to install it.










c. After TSAPLogonControl installation.


d. Start to install TSAPBapiControl Please choose 'SAP BAPI Control' and click 'Install...' to install it.










e. After TSAPBapiControl installation

# SAP Remote Function Call Control:
project --> type library import
(imported components: TSAPFunctions, TFunction, TParameter, TExports, TImports, TStructure)
Then component --> install components;
specify the name of the unit (the units are normally stored in the directory IMPORTS in Delphi): TSAPFunctionsOCX_TLB.pas

Please follow me, step by step:

a. Start to import Type Library (Project --> Inport Type Library...)



If you find that the direction of SAP Remote Function Call Control is not correct, please add 'wdtfuncs.ocx' manualy.







b. After SAP Remote Function Call Control installation

After the Installation of all components these can get in a form from the register ActiveX of the component Menu. More information's about this theme you can read in the Delphi-component-manual.
