Issue: the item issued to wip job, some of the transaction value is zero, some of the transaction is not zero.
Then I checked the item’s transaction, and found there is no receive for item A to the locator_A,after the item A issued. then the onhand qty is negative. This is because our system allow negative onhand qty.
As I tested, if the item have po receive with the project which issued to the wip job, then there have the transaction value. If the item have misc receive with cost to the project, then the item issued to the job, then there also have transaction cost. But if the item misc receive without cost, there will have no transaction cost.
Actually this is the similar issue with which I had done long time before, as the cycle count for the item.
When we do cycle count, we find some items have the adjust value, some items the adjust value is 0. but the cost is not 0.Could you tell me what caused the issue?
The item has so far only been transacted against the project cost groups and has no quantity or cost against the default cost group. This is why the cycle count adjustment has gone at zero cost (which is the current average cost).
