sometimes when we enter so, click Book, the so status is booked. only the so status is awaiting shipping, then the system will allow us to perform. pick release. we need use action---progress so in the so lines form. after processed the so, the line status will change to awaiting shipping. then we can pick release

sometimes, when we try to pick release so, we found the so can't pick

fist check the onhand qty. if the system have onhand for the pick item, especially the project value.

we also need to check the system's setup for pick rules. if the system allow us pick the item from no project locator to so with project.

Second: check if there have ship set for the so line. if the so line have ship set. we need make sure the same ship set should have enough onhand qty

Third: when we can't input the so number in the release form, mayby the so lines is not awaiting shipping, maybe the customer already inactive.
