1.Entering Sales Orders
*Overview: Sources for Document Data
.Master data: The system reads the master data defined for a customer,a material, or a pricing condition.
.Existing document data: Document data that has already been entered or determined automatically by the system can be used to enter additional document data.
.Customizing: Default values for creating documents can be defined in Customizing.You can also define strategies in Customizing for determining document information based on combinations of several criteria (for example,determining the shipping point through a combination of delivering plant, loading group, and shipping condition).
.Hard-coded controls: Hard-coded controls can be used to weight the different sources of information. By using a weighting factor, the value is multiplied by a number to increase or decrease the importance of the information.

2.Processing Sales Orders
*Different options are available for changing document data.
.Fast change in document: The fast change function allows you to change several – or all – items in a document at the same time.
.Changing several documents: You can use the document list to change the plant, currency, materials, and pricing in several documents at the same time.
.Blocking documents: You can block specific documents for subsequent process steps, like shipping and billing.
.Rejecting documents: You can reject items in sales documents. This blocks them from being copied to subsequent documents.
