Would like to pass values from Subreport to Main Report in SSRS ?

It is not supported in 2005, however, i found a way to realize it through using report parameters.

To simplify it, the scenario is as following:

There are 2 Subrepots in 1 Main Report , in the meanwhile in Subreport 1 there is a numerical number A.

While B in subreport 2.

The desired value C which i would like to present in the Main Report, equals to A+B.

The solution is:

first define A and B in Main Report parameters, create another two new datasets to get the values of A and B in MainReport.

Then in MainReport, the expression could be written using the two report parameters in MainReport in order to get the values in SubReports.
