Organizational units describe the various business units in your enterprise that are usually structured according to tasks and functions. Organizational units could be departments, teams, groups and even branches, and subsidiaries.[@more@]
· Organizational units can de defined loosely as functional or regional departments, or more specifically as project groups, depending on the type of organization you have.
· Organizational units are related to cost centers from Controlling. The assignments can be same as the one in cost centers, but not strictly have to.
· The hierarchical interrelationships that exist between the organizational units depict the organizational structure of your company.
