How to disable data guard

如果启用了DGRMGL,那么需要先disable it.
Asuming you can use DGMGRL start dgmgrl and connect to the primary database.

For example:

1.Issue the following DGMGRL command to disable the broker's active management of the databases in the Data Guard configuration:

DGMGRL> DISABLE CONFIGURATION;

2. Issue the following SQL statement in SQL*Plus or SQLDeveloper to stop the broker:

SQL> ALTER SYSTEM SET DG_BROKER_START=FALSE;

To enable dataguard again you can first set DG_BROKER_START to TRUE again  enable the dataguard configuration in DGMGRL.

然后再用SQLPLUS去disable data guard.

First you have to defer log_archive_dest_state_2 , it brokes the connection from primary to standby. It will stop redo transport as well. Simply do the following:

On Primary DB:
i) SQL> alter system set log_archive_dest_state_2=DEFER;

On Standby DB:
i) SQL>alter database recover managed standby database cancel;
ii) SQL> alter system set log_archive_dest_state_2=DEFER;

如果需要,还可以以下方法启动standby到READ & WRITE mode:
(make sure there is no connectivity active with primary database.)
alter database commit to switchover to primary with session shutdown;
alter database open;
