Information in this document applies to any platform.
'Upload File Size Limit'Any file upload within OA Framework observes this profile option value.
It specifies the maximum allowable file size in KB for uploaded attachments.
For example, if the limit is 2MB, this value should be set to 2000.
2. To set this Profile Option login with Sysadmin responsibility. Navigate to:
- Profile > System
- query for 'Upload File Size Limit
- enter the file size limit in KBytes
Please Note that there is a known issue with this Profile Option:
The profile option is being interpreted correctly by the framework interface but not interpreted correctly via the forms interface.
After applying RUP5 and trying to add an attachment in the forms application you receive the following message:
"The file has no size or exceeds the allowed size limit"
The file being uploaded does not exceed the value for profile "Upload File Size Limit"
Trying to attach the same file in a self service application such as iProcurement, iExpenses or
iStore for example works without error
Fix was identified in RUP5 but did not make the drop for RUP6.
One off fix is Patch 6620452
