American Conference brings back Camellia Bowl for 2014
MOUNT PLEASANT, MI The MidAmerican Conference announced Monday, Aug. 19 it is adding another bowl football game with the creation of the Camellia Bowl.
The bowl begins in 2014 and is based out of Montgomery, Ala. It is owned and operated by ESPN and will be played in the 25,000 seat Cramton Bowl.

Camellia Bowl will feature one MAC bowl eligible team against a member of the Sun Belt conference beginning in 2014 and running until 2019. The bowl will be played before Christmas and televised nationally by ESPN or ESPN2.

Camellia Bowl will be the third bowl game that uses the MAC as a primary bowl partner, joining the Go Daddy Bowl in mobile Ala. and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Id.
